Starfield connecting cover pair
Two marketplace tiles that only complete a cosmic team pose when placed edge to edge, echoing printed connecting covers from summer crossovers.
Connecting covers were a shop-window trick: buy both issues or live with a severed cape. This NFT pair repeats the trick as two separately listed tiles. Alone, the left tile is a starfield with a gauntlet-like shape cut by the right margin. Together, a team diagonal appears.
We logged the pair because collectors keep screenshotting only the left tile and then arguing about a “mystery object” that is simply the other cover. The spotlight’s job is to restore the hinge.
Colour temperature shifts between the two files. The left leans ice blue; the right warms toward printer-process yellow. On paper that often meant two presses. Here it more likely means two finishing passes in the same digital file. We record the shift so a chronology map does not treat them as unrelated drops.
If you only hold one tile, the honest caption is “left half of a connecting variant,” not a complete cosmic team cover.
